The eTORQ Original electric inboard boat motor has been delivering top performance in humid maritime environments for years. Our traction AC induction motors, optionally equipped with excellent ‘full-body’ liquid cooling, ensure maximum efficiency, performance, lifespan, and reliability. What sets the motor apart is its active behavior during navigation, providing powerful stops, evasive maneuvers, and precise maneuvering. Additionally, the eTORQ is remarkably quiet and low-maintenance.

The high degree of sealing in the motor casing makes the electric motor dustproof and waterproof up to IP66, making it well-prepared for use in maritime applications.
✔ Corrosion-resistant
The use of anodized aluminum for the motor casing and high-quality stainless steel AISI 316 for the motor frame and mounting materials makes the motor highly suitable for application in humid environments.
✔ Exceptionally high peak power
The applied Traction AC Induction Motor technology is renowned for its exceptionally high peak power. Unlike permanent magnet motors, the maximum power is not limited by the existing magnetism. The result is more responsive navigation, powerful stops, evasive maneuvers, and precise maneuvering.
✔ Motor feedback encoder & sensor
The electric inboard boat motor is equipped with a position/speed encoder and a temperature sensor that, in combination with the controller, ensure optimal performance across the entire speed range. Feedback from the temperature sensor controls the cooling system, protecting the motor from overload by limiting the speed at the critical temperature.
✔ Integrated thrust bearings
With integrated thrust bearings, an additional thrust bearing is often not necessary. This results in lower energy consumption and cost savings.

Together with the accompanying vibration dampers, the motor frames can be adjusted in height continuously. Additionally, they have the same width dimensions as the most common combustion engines, allowing them to fit on virtually any motor foundation.

The electric inboard boat controller is equipped with connectors, making it easy and error-free to connect with the corresponding cables.
